Story
Marala was restored at Pendennis in Falmouth in a two-and-a-half year meticulous period-conscious rebuild, and after departing our UK homebase in the Autumn of 2022, she headed straight to the Mediterranean subsequently arriving at Pendennis Vilanova. Marala is a regular repeat visitor to Pendennis Vilanova and has taken full advantage of the services offered both within our Technical Service Centre and Marina, where recent work included the installation of a fresh air make up system onboard.
The Pendennis team were delighted that Marala won a World Superyacht Award in 2023 for best “Rebuilt Yacht”. The judges recognised Pendennis’ meticulous period-conscious rebuild of the 92-year-old classic motor yacht and considered her worthy of a Neptune award. Marala has a permanent winter base at Pendennis Vilanova which helps the crew benefit from Pendennis technical support in the heart of the Mediterranean from our skilled team of superyacht specialists. After Marala’s major refit at Pendennis in Falmouth, the Pendennis team undertook her warranty period in Vilanova.
