During the 2024–2025 season, Atalante visited Pendennis Vilanova for an extensive refit that encompassed exterior refinishing, structural maintenance, and interior improvements. The project included a full paint job, including cover installation, antifouling application, and the unstepping and refinishing of the mast and boom. Technical works ranged from tank cleaning and minor air-conditioning repairs to the removal and servicing of the side platform and a welding repair on the stern tube. Hydraulic specialists carried out a series of services, including windlass maintenance, backstay valve-block work, new hydraulic-hose fabrication, and additional valve-block servicing. Although the propulsion-line works were managed directly by the client, Pendennis Vilanova performed vibration testing before and after the intervention. The refit concluded with an interior modification to the crew cabin, transforming the layout from a double bed to two singles, enhancing both comfort and functionality for the crew.
